Hi Vis Clothing

View our Hi-Vis Clothing buyers guide here.

Various professions require high visibility clothing, especially with the dark mornings and evenings during this time of the year. Hi-Vis is essential so that work can be carried out safely without any accidents. Hi-Vis is essential for two reasons: protecting the user’s health and making sure they are visible to those surrounding them. So what does Capital Workwear offer?

At Capital we offer a wide variety of Yellow Hi-Vis clothing essential for work and safety. Remember that we also supply Orange Hi Vis if required.

All of your must haves from sweatshirts and fleeces to hi vis vests.

We stock them all, available in a wide range of sizes to suit everyone.

Our Hi-Vis clothing starts from as little £1.65, offering affordable items for all!

The importance of high visibility in the work place

The Health and Safety Executive points to the Personal Protective Equipment at Work Regulations 1992 to show employers and workers the factors that need to be taken into account when dealing with high visibility.

According to that act:

  • The clothing workers wear should be appropriate for both the risk involved in carrying out the job, and the actual job itself.
  • The high visibility clothing you need is different depending on the conditions and risk.
  • Are the colours correct? Our colours ARE. Yellow and Orange are. Colours such as blue aren't.
  • If you are working in a warehouse with machinery and moving parts then loose clothing is not suitable. Buy your clothing to fit properly, if it doesn't then return it for the right fit.
